Guess who had another play date! Snow Flurries, So Swirly, Loads of Love and Fun and Fast notes.

Today I had the lovely Di and her sister come over to have a play with the Stampin Up! Products. Here are some of the cards that we made.

This card was made with the so swirly jumbo wheel and fun and fast notes. It is done with the bold brights colours.
Again here is the jumbo so swirly wheel. This card is for my sister in law Mimi, I am so hoping that She does not look at this blog lol!

This is the stamps from loads of love. Pretty basic card but looks ok.

This is one of the cards that we had made on the weekend classes just with a different greeting.

Christmas Card Classes Weekend

Hi, we have just finished our weekend of Christmas Card Classes. It was so nice to meet such lovely people. Thank you all for coming and bringing your own crafty ideas to the projects. It is amazing how many different looks you can get when several people do the same project. I was thoroughly impressed with everyones style. Thank you all again for making this weekend wonderful. I did not get photos from the classes, but I did just grab some with my cards and Leslee's. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and you are all more than welcome to attend the next class that I hold. I will be holding more as I had so much fun!!

Here are our projects from todays class. the cards I made are on the left, Leslee's on the right.

The cards on top are what Les is taking home lol! We certainly had

a very productive weekend! If you are interested in holding this class before christmas please let me know and I ould love to run it for you. Thank you all once again for such a great weekend! Thanks Les for coming down to be here, you rock!!

My playdate with Les!! Who needs to go out on a Saturday night when you can play!

I had a play date, I had a play date!!

My lovely aunt, my buddy came over this weekend for my christmas card workshop She lives in Maryborough and comes to play quite frequently! Last night we had a bit of a play. Les had ordered her markers and was keen to use them (She lloooooooves the markers!) Anyhoo... We made 3 cards, basically using the same image, colours, but different layouts, brads and ribbon. We are so happy with our cards. Okay... so 2 were cased from the old stampin ideas booklet that Bec had given me the other day, but the other one was all us baby. Let me know what you think

This is Leslee's Loads of love card. She used some hodge podge on the corner stuck with a dimensional, it looks so affective.

Here is the tree from the loads of love set with a bit of vanilla ribbon and

red brads. We have versa marked the wheel down the bottom

This is my tree card. I have used the 2 silver brads instead two different looks with a set... gotta love versatility! This is my loads of love card, all (including the truck like Les) are with dimensionals. Again 2 looks.

This is our designed card. This one is my thankyou card. I have borrowed

the word sets from Bec, *waves at Bec will be buying this set in the

near future

Here is Les' one. How cute are these!!

I will be posting our Christmas workshop photos this afternoon. FUN FUN FUN!!

November specials

Looking for something different this year to do with christmas decorating, cards, home decor, ANYTHING in particular? Why not have a look at stampin up rub ons! They are gorgeous and so easy, fast and effective. They can be used on card stock, photo frames, scrap booking, glass, candles....

In November from the 10th to 30th November you can purchase rub ons at a reduced price. To qualify for the reduced price, simply spend $20 on stampin up products (postage is not included toward reaching the total) and you can purchase as many rub ons as you would like for the reduced price of $15.96 (normally $19.95) Each pack contains not only one sheet of white rub ons but one sheet of black rub ons as well!!

If you are thinking... awesome! I really would love to purchase these rub on packs but I am not sure what to buy to reach the $20 than I can solve your problem!

For the whole month of november stampin up are selling, individual stampin write markers for $4.95 (plus postage). If you have been looking at the markers, but were a bit worried about buying the whole set, or, you have not seen them but would love to try them out now is the time. Markers are a great way to add many colours to your stamps without having to reink your image several times over. They save time with projects and are quite easy to use, they are easier to transport than the ink pads and for that cheap price i know i will be purchasing a few!

If you would like to know more, or would like to place an order, please email me or call 0430188091 and I would be more than happy to assist you.

even MORE christmas cards... YES I am addicted.. where is Stampin annonymous?

Hi! Well been pretty busy around here lately, with the preparations for under 8's day. Well, it has been busy but not only because of that!!

I have made up a card pack tonight. The stamps used are priceless and fast and fun notes. I have also used some printed paper as well. I am sticking with the greens for Christmas themes. They are pretty plain cards, but I do not have any other stamps for Christmas. So have figured green and red are pretty christmasy!
I have also made a card holder for them which needs to have some ribbon on it to tie... MUST get the crop-a-dile!

Here are the cards.......

Here is the card holder.... Bec came up with the design, isn't she clever!

I am thinking of holding some classes to make items with the tart and tangy set and also another class with hung up on Christmas stamp set. You will make at least 4 cards and get the stamp set. I am looking at $40 for each of the classes which includes the stamp set and materials for the class, If you are interested please let me know as spaces will be limited.

Obviously the price is just a guess at the moment until i see what i am going to make and of course which set but they will not be any more than $40.

More cards with simply sent card kit

Another card that I have made (just than I am sooo fast- gotta love it when Julians asleep and the kids are at school. I was doing the "you and me"card that i had posted on here earlier with just the one flower in the corner) but it looked really plain. I have again used the black and white card stock to fit C6 envelope. I have also used the stamps and markers in the simply sent pack and have also used my own black stampin write which is NOT included in the pack. I think it looks pretty

The following cards I made last night and made one up this morning (I made it while Logann got dressed so that is how quick and easy they are)

this is the one i made up really quickly. It uses all the

products in the kit... I have used the ......for you as the

flower stem, it looks so effective on here!

This one is also made up with everything in the pack except the paper

with the Friend stamped on it is in the designer paper in the mini

I have made this up with the stamps and red pen from the kit, I have

just changed the paper. I have gone white and black. I think it would

look better with the one flower in the corner and the saying in the opposite

corner. Obviously I have also just used plain black ink. (paper and black

ink not included in the simply sent pack)

Product Spotlight: SImply Sent : FRIENDLY NOTES

Hello again.... WOW what an exciting month coming up with Stampin Up! So many discounted items it is GREAT!! I wanted to show you one of the packs that are on special from the 4th to 11th October only. This pack is the friendly notes card pack and page 13 and will be 20% off the original price. Now I must admit that I was expecting alot of stuff in my pack but I thought oh it would only be enough to make the 14 cards only. HOW WRONG WAS I!!! I have so much left over. In this pack I got 92 mini glue dots (so no need to buy glue) I got one paper piece of dimensionals ( these usually come in three to a packet. These are used to make your item stick out and not glued flat.) I got extra brads ( the pin looking things - Yes- i also like how technical I am). I can not rave on enough about this pack.

Even the box it comes in is pretty!

Everthing that comes in the packs. This is a great way for people to test out the Stampin Up products. Plus, for those of us who are not very creative, it has step by step instructions on how to make two cards. With the left overs you can create what you want too!! And if you enjoy the cards as is, all you have to do is order the paper and you can make it all over again!!

This is all you need to make one of the card designs HOW EASY!!

This is the end product! I do not know why but everytime I take a photo

of the end product its ALWAYS blurry.. I hate that!

I will be making my own normal C6 sized cards with the products (bar the card stock) in the pack. I will be posting them up on here within the next few days! This set is a great set for begginners too advanced... Once again, the items included with the pack are way more than you need to creat the 14 cards! If you are interested in the card packs please let me know.

6 inch X 6 inch pages for Scrap booking

Thought that it would be a good idea to start my own scrapbook. I am making it 6 x 6. Below are three of the pages I have just done.

All are from the "confetti" pack and I still can not get over how much I have left after making the pages.

This Pack is for Briannans Birthday, she is turning 11 on the 25th September

This one is for Rays birthday

This is for Allanna's Birthday, She will be turning 6 in January.... Yes I know I am getting ahead of myself but who can blame me when I get to play with all this cool stuff!!

Please feel free to give me some tips or advice or comments on any of the things that I make. it would be great to get some feed back!

Scrapbooking pack!

I got my scrap booking "confetti" pack today. It has far more in it than I thought.

I have already had a play! Below is my first ever ON MY OWN attempt! So do not be too harsh!

I made the size of the paper 8 inches by 8 inches as the scrap book that Bec had made for Julian was that size. The photo is not the best quality I know but I will try to take a better photo later when the battery's are all recharged!

Product of the fortnight

I am purchasing my very first Scrap booking kit. I am going to go the confetti style because we have had so many birthday's in the last couple of weeks, and more to come!

The pre made Scrap booking kits contain 3 sheets 30.5 x 30.5 of double sided patterend paper, 2 sheets each of 30.5x30.5cm textured card stock, in 4 different colours and 2 sheets each of 15.2x30.5cm self adhesive die cuts with 3 different designs.
There are 6 scrap booking packs to choose from and all cost $36.95 + postage. You get to create a MINIMUM of 4 scrap booking pages at 30.5x30.5.. of course this all depends on your creativity!

All of these kits can be found on pages 137 to 139.

I am going to cut my card stock down to 6" x 6" so I will be able to make at least 4 pages. But we will see how it goes and I will post the pages on here as I make them.
