Moving choo choo bold bright style!

Here is a card that I LOVE! The stamp set is choo choo and it is from the spring mini. I am really hoping that it goes into the next ideas booklet! As I have 7 nephews i think a train set is pretty "on track" for the boys cards(pardon the pun!) I have use bold brights and white. I have also made it a moving train! I hope that you like it. Feel free to add comments below.

Happy Moments sale-a-bration

Here is a quick card I whipped up yesterday using the Happy Moments stamp set from the current sale-a-bration. Using the note cards availble from stampin up I inked in black on tempting turquoise card stock. I used dimensionals on the card stock. I than chunky glittered the cake in blue and diamond. Using a tempting turqoise ribbon I knotted that and glue dotted on the side of the card. Quick... easy... effective!

Here is the last cards Mum and I completed. This time we embossed. I used silver and Mum used black. We both embossed on mellow moss and we both used regal rose on our card. I also used brocade blue. The sentiments are from the current sale-a-bration set whimsical words.

Here are the next lot of cards mum and I made. Again we had to use 5 colours, perfect plum, ruby red, more mustard, close to cocoa, barely banana.
Mum used the eyelet border punch and I love how she created the side panel with it!

Butterfly Prints Challenge

I currently have my Mum up from Sydney. So last night (while waiting for Maddison to wake up) I thought we would have a bit of a play. So, we gave ourselves a little challenge. We used the color coach (great to use if you are a little lost for ideas Pg 127 IBC $18.95 #105796) We had to use the following colors:
Elegant Eggplant, Pixie Pink, Lavender Lace, Pretty in pink and Old Olive.
Using the Gorgeous butterfly prints (Pg 12 summer mini $25.95 #117711) and the butterfly punch ($30.95 #116629) we both created our cards.
I used the eyelet border punch ($30.95 #113692) and we both used the Light Pink Chunky sprinkles as well.
We both dimensioned our butterfly's. For further information on the cards, please leave comments and I will try to answer your questions :)

Blush Blossom announcements

It has been soooooo long since I was last on here and I appologize for that!
I am delighted to say that my darling Maddison was born on the 18th January and we are very proud parents indeed! We are now up to week 5 (can not believe how fast that has flown!)
Wanted to share with you all the announcements/introductions that I did for her. I embossed the fawn with clear powder and the "introducing" was embossed with silver. Probably was not a good idea to do al of them like that as it took forevr to do the two embossing colours and I made 40!

AM going to upload at least once week (if not daily) but please don't hate if I do not get around to it!
