birthday cards

Hello again. I have been a very good girl and have made up my birthday cards for next month yeah me I am so excited I have gotten them all done, I usually remember to do them the day of someones birthday! But before I put the cards in I just wanted to let you know that with the Stampin Up Busfire appeal, stampin Up are already able to donate over $15,000. So please keep your orders coming in for the stamp sets that are being donated the 50% But how great is that! Goes to show the aussie spirit :) Well done.
So here are my cards

This card was made using the embrace life set.. I so hope that this set is going to be in the new catalogue! I love it. I have also used the so swirly wheel in versa mark, again another stamp that I use almost all of the time! I have made this card as a pop up card, I used versa mark on the inside with the sprinkles stamp set. I used pale plum and perfect plum.

This card I made for my nephew Matty, I used the loads of love stamp set, again, another set that I use quite alot especially for male cards. I used the Jersey Shore DSP and stamped the presents from the crazy for christmas stamp set I coloured over them in the BB chalks. I have used Brilliant Blue CS and popped the car on dimensionalsThis card I have used polka dot punches from SAB. I have usedLavender Lace CS and embossed the hearts in silver and used the mats and punched the holes around the top of the CS. A bit of hodgepodge and voilla... I really like this card, It is for my cousin Donna for her birthday.

This card is what I have made for when Hayley is born. Very simple card, but i like it too. I have just paper pierced around the whole card and Punched out vellum it seemed to work better than a solid colour behind the pram, which I have stamped on white CS in blush blossom. Added hodge podge and just used the hostess stamp so many sayings.

Baby shower fun and games

Hi all. Well yesterday we had Sonia's baby shower. I was so worried that I would forget to take everything or that things would not go according to plan, as poor bubba Julian got a viral infection on wednesday, plus he is getting two teeth, so he has been sick, angry and cute all together. Long story short, misplaced the baby cups, and forgot to buy wool, luckily Sonia had some, and do you think I could find small babies? NAH I found plenty of big ones, but non small enough to fit into an ice tray, so my Mum suggested jelly babies! So Aunty Les picked them up for me.
We had several games to play. We had fill in the nursery rhyme. I grabbed a few nursery rhymes and blanked out some of the words, so whoever got the most was the winner. We played whos water will break first, hence the jelly babies frozen in ice trays, now I should have told everyone that the winner would be the first to say that there water had broken, but we ended up with 2 winners. We played guess the powder, I got talc, flour, sugar, salt and washing powder and everyone had to guess which was what. We played guess the bump size, Everyone had to cut a piece of wool to the size that they thought Sonia would be and whoever got closest won, suprisingly we had 2 winners, one was Aunty Les, the guesses were so close! And last but not least we played baby parts, Everyone had to fill in what parts they thought Sonia would want the baby (hayley) to have. All in all the games went for about an hour and I made prizes for the games. I put all the games into a box I had designed for Sonia and now She has a keepsake for her day. It was good fun, the cake was GORGEOUS and SOOOOO yummy! Now we just sit back and wait for Hayley to come!

The Prizes...... The FOOD!!!
The gifts for everyone to take home, I made up the shoes and brought a whistle and teddy bear toothpick, Sonia brought everyone bottles of pink wine.
The girl in question posing with the most awesome of awesome cakes!

Aunty Leslees prize. filled with a chocolate bar and lollies... mmmmm ... lollies!

The tinkerbell cake, Hayleys room is decked out in tinkerbell its gorgeous!

Brad checking out the games we were playing... NOthing suss lol!

Album In A Day Fundraiser

Hello everyone. I wanted to say how much fun it is being a Stampin Up demonstrator. Not only do you get to create some great projects, but you also get to meet some wonderful, generous people.
Because of
being a demonstrator I am one happy camper. I signed up late last year and since than I have meet some wonderful people, one of whom is now a very close friend. I have also found a generosity within the company. When Garry passed away everyone in the Stampin Up company was incredibly supportive, generous and sincere. After I returned home from Sydney I said to Bec, who is my upline and sister in law, that I needed to do something to create some funds. Together with Liz (Bec's upline) we have created a wonderful scrap booking album. I invite all of you to attend and I really hope that you do! It is such a great album and will be fun to create. Below is the flier that we have been passing on, as your invitaion. If you would like to come by yourself, with a friend, or with several friends please let me know so I can reserve spots for you. Payment will need to be made to secure your booking. I am hoping to get the order for materials in on the 16th February so it would be great if money could be recieved by than. If you do not know until last minute, just give me a call and we will try to arange something, but I do urge for pre payment so you do not miss out.

I wanted to thank Bec and Liz so very very much, for making all of this happen. Without your support I would still be sitting at home, trying to come up with ideas of what to do.

Bec, thank you so much. So very much....

If anyone would like to join this amazing team, please let me know and I will certainly have a sit down and a chat, or, if you would like to attend one of our team meetings please let me know. Our next one is on the 15th Feb which is a sunday night at 7:30. Cost is nothing to attend, but please let me know in advance if you would like to attend at Bec's house.
